Norwest-AI-Hub expands on the current interactions and builds a formal partnership with local K-12 schools and educators. The goal is to develop scalable, sustainable, and impactful tools and approaches to enhance the Common Core learning experience.

Key Initiatives:
  • Curriculum Integration: Identify opportunities within the Common Core curriculum to integrate examples of artificial intelligence, semiconductor physics, and data science.
  • Collaborative Development: Work with educators to create class plans and new teaching tools.
  • Continuous Improvement: Conduct assessments and gather feedback for ongoing enhancements.
Expected Achievements and Outputs:
  • Pilot Teaching Plans: Develop initial teaching plans that incorporate core curriculum elements.
  • Online Resources: Create instructional videos and tutorials for students.
  • Interactive Tools: Develop class examples, student projects, and other interactive teaching tools ready for widespread adoption.
Annual Workshops:
  • Strategic Development: Leader institutions will host annual brainstorming workshops to develop effective teaching modules and strategies.
  • Focus Areas: Strengthen the K-16 talent pipeline by targeting artificial intelligence, semiconductor physics, data science, and other STEM fields.
